Review: Beautiful Bride by Tammy Falkner (Reed Brothers #5.6)
Pete Reed and Reagan Caster know that they want to spend the rest of their lives together but there's a part of them that was kind of relieved when they decided to gift their impromptu wedding to the Michaels couple next door. Pete wonders about a comment Reagan made regarding having kids while Reagan has a surprise for Pete that she knows will shock him. Add to that the rest of the Reed clan and this looks like it's going to be one wedding at the beach to remember.
Beautiful Bride is the fifth novella and tenth release in Tammy Falkner's Reed Brothers series and overlaps a bit with the events from the fourth novella, Only One. Pete and Reagan are set to be married and every single member of the Reed family is ready for these two to make it official. The book is told from the perspectives of each of the adult members of the family. The humor and heart that fans have come to know from the Reeds is very much present.
The ending does end in a cliffhanger, one that sets the stage for the sixth full-length novel in the series and Sam Reed's love story with Peck Vasquez of the band Fallen from Zero. I already had the sixth book waiting for me but that ending caught me completely by surprise and I actually gasped while reading the last section. As always, I highly recommend that the books be read in order so that you can fully appreciate the series as a whole. Beautiful Bride gets 4.5 stars. ♥
