Audiobook Review: Out in the Offense by Lane Hayes, narrated by Michael Pauley (Out in College #3)

I've had the pleasure of listening to all of Lane Hayes's audiobooks, but there's just something special about the audio editions for her Out in College series. With Michael Pauley taking on narration duties once again, Out in the Offense isn't as good as the first two audiobooks--it's BETTER. No, wait. I take that back. It isn't better. It's the best in the lot, and that's saying something because I absolutely adored both Out in the Deep and Out in the End Zone . This series seems to get better with each new audiobook that's released, leaving me both excited and anxious for the fourth one since the bar is astronomically high, but since that book isn't even out yet, I'm going to continue to heap a whole lot of love on the most recent one to come out. And no, pun SO not intended in that last sentence! Christian Rafferty has a lot on his plate: he's in his senior year at Chilton University, he's the star quarterback and captain

Book Spotlight: Sweet Liar by Laurelin Paige

Image
Sweet Liar (Dirty Sweet #1) by Laurelin Paige Date Released: February 26, 2019 About Sweet Liar British ad exec Dylan Locke isn’t looking for love. He isn’t looking for fate. He’s definitely not looking for Audrey Lind. She’s pretty, far too young, and overly romantic—in short, exhausting. But when the girl, young enough to be his daughter, literally lands in his lap and asks for his expertise, he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t interested. In her body, in her innocence, in her philosophy. In the kind of kismet that starts with kisses. But Audrey isn’t looking for love either—she’s looking for lessons, and she's certain Dylan knows everything she needs to learn.  If he agrees to play the teacher can he keep his heart?  Of course he can. Then again, he might be lying. Read my 4.5-starred review of Sweet Liar . Add Sweet Liar on Goodreads . Purchase Links Amazon | Apple Books | B&N | Google Play | Kobo

Review: Sweet Liar by Laurelin Paige (Dirty Sweet #1)

Image
Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Candi Kane PR. Bestselling author Laurelin Paige takes readers back to her deliciously decadent universe of all things Dirty , with the first in her new Dirty Sweet duet. His business partners at Reach, Inc. may be foolishly falling in love with the women in their lives, but Dylan Locke has no intention of following suit. The forty-two-year-old Brit’s top priorities are his business ventures and his thirteen-year-old son, Aaron. He may have believed in love and romance once upon a time, but fairy tale endings are fiction for a reason. He’s more than happy to engage in meaningless sex with the woman of his choosing, but Audrey Lind would definitely NOT be a good choice. Not only is Audrey nearly twenty years younger than Dylan, but she also happens to be the younger sister of one of Reach, Inc.’s prized employees. But Audrey’s homed in on the older man, and she has no qualms going after what—or who—she wants. Ho
