Review: Fool's Paradise by Lilliana Anderson (Cartwright Brothers #5)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author.
Who is this guy? Men like Toby Cartwright didn't exist. Not in my world, anyway. Women like me didn't attract men like him. And if they did, they certainly didn't get to keep him.
FINALLY!!! Gah! I've been waiting for Toby Cartwright's book ever since he first entered my consciousness in the Cartwright Brothers series starter. He was the quietest among the five brothers--the one everyone leaned on, the eldest who took his responsibility to his mother and his younger brothers seriously, to the point that he put his life on hold while everyone else lived theirs to the fullest--and yet he was a scene stealer in the each of the first four novels. Okay, maybe he simply stole my heart from the get-go, and I was itching for the poor guy to have the same kind of happily-ever-after that his brothers got with their women. No, scratch that. I wanted Toby to have an even more wondrous happy ending. Why? Because he …

Release Blitz: Sealed in Strength by Ryan Michele

Sealed in Strength (Ravage MC Rebellion #3) by Ryan Michele Release Date: December 31, 2018
About Sealed in Strength Sometimes the risk truly was the worth the reward.
Rylynn I knew pain. I knew my pain. I knew his pain. I knew our pain. He sparked a fire inside me I couldn’t put out.
Crow I was strong. I was fearless. The biggest mistake my enemies could make would be to assume she was my weakness. Rylynn made me stronger, harder, and more determined to protect what was mine.
Friend or foe, I would never let another person get between us. No matter the risk, she was mine to have and hold.
We were connected in pain, fueled in fire, and the world would test us, only to show we were sealed in strength.
In the end, nothing could keep us apart.

Review: Sealed in Strength by Ryan Michele (Ravage MC Rebellion #3)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author.
Sealed in Strength is the third book in the Ravage MC Rebellion series--and the conclusion to the trilogy involving Caleb Moore-Blaine and Rylynn Hutton, aka Crow and Rylynn--and everything involving the first couple in this spin-off series is wrapped up. Book number three picks up where the second one left off, with Crow and Rylynn still very much in love, but not everyone is as supportive of their burgeoning relationship as they would have wished. These two are going to be forced to confront naysayers, but there are forces beyond their control that will stop at nothing to put an end to everything these two are forging--whether it be as a couple or as part of the very club they love.

As always, I'm going to strive to keep this review of mine free of spoilers, but I think it's safe to say that this third book does NOT end in a cliffhanger. Can I hear an "amen"? Crow and Rylynn go through hell and then som…

It would all be too intense, too complicated, too real.

But then one drunken kiss proves Mage might not be as straight as he seemed, and their whole world turns upside down. Even though Dawn craves Mage’s love so much his heart could burst, his shyness stands in the way of any future they could share.

While they have to keep their budding relationsh…

Review: Something About Jace by Jocelynn Drake & Rinda Elliott (Pineapple Grove #1)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the authors via IndiGo Marketing & Design.
“I didn't expect anything like this,” Trent whispered. “But I'm so glad I found you.”His heart, still beating like a bass drum, quickened again because that stare was full of something he couldn't put a name to—something that filled him with more hope than he knew what to do with.He pulled Trent close and kissed him. “I'm glad I found you, too.”
It was back in October of 2017 when Jocelynn Drake and Rinda Elliott first made their presence known to me by way of the first novel in their Ward Security series, a spin-off of their original series together, Unbreakable Bonds. In a year's time, I've worked my way through both of those series and have fallen absolutely smitten, not just with the stories their core cast of characters had to tell but the characters themselves, and that includes those supporting characters who end up becoming so damn unforgettable and causing…
