From the Ground Up A Better Place Feels Like Home by Jennifer Van Wyk Re-Release Date: November 27, 2019
About the Books
About From the Ground Up I fell in love with Tess when I was a teenager. Being in love has never been the problem. Time together, on the other hand, is. Life has caught up with us and we’ve lost focus on each other. Date night is a laughable concept. And sex? Well, it’s been months. Months. It’s time to take matters into my own hands and kidnap my wife for a week alone. The only problem? How do I convince Tess to fall back in love with me when she never fell out of love in the first place? How do we re-build, from the ground up?

The Girl He Loves (Orchard Heights #1) by Roya Carmen Date Released: November 21, 2019
About The Girl He Loves Mischa Lombardi is odd. Pragmatic. Perfectionist. Neurotic. Diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder at the age of eleven, she can’t remember being any other way.
Thankfully, with the assistance of medication and therapy, her life is well under control. Some might even say it’s perfect: a beautiful husband, her sons Trevor and Tristan, a fabulous condo, work she enjoys and great friends.
Yet she’s still extremely fragile. It’s the reason she always guards her emotions very carefully. And unfortunately, nothing can help her when, by chance, she discovers her husband’s secret — Ava, a beautiful young woman. She was so sure she knew her husband, but now she desperately needs to uncover the truth.
It’s no surprise when she becomes obsessed with Ava, with every trivial detail of her life; her friends, her beautiful mother, and most of all, her gentle and sweet father. Driven not o…

Roya Carmen kicks off her new Orchard Heights series with the story of a woman who seems to have it all...if only that were true. The Girl He Loves is about Mischa Lombardi, who at thirty-six has a husband, Brian, whom she adores, two sons, Trevor and Tristan, both of whom are the light of her life, a good group of friends, and work that she enjoys. Diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder at eleven, Mischa has been able to keep her life neatly organized and under control with the help of much-needed therapy and prescribed medication. All is well for as long as nothing disturbs her perfectly ordered world. And then she stumbles upon Ava. She's a beautiful girl who also happens to be the secret her husband has been hiding, for how long Mischa has no idea. She needs to know everything, and that means each and every detail about Ava and what's been going on between this girl a…

Review: All Wrapped Up for the Holidays by Various Authors

Gah! When I got the email about this surprise release from not just one but SEVEN bestselling authors, I may have squeed rather loudly in excitement. The authors in question are the writing duo of Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward, Colleen Hoover, Kristen Ashley, Jill Shalvis, Elle Kennedy, and K. Bromberg. I've read at least ONE book from each of these powerhouse authors, so I knew just how well these women could write. I couldn't wait to get my hands on the book, and the fact that it happens to be free (yep, you read that right--FREE!) was an absolute bonus. This holiday anthology may be titled All Wrapped Up for the Holidays but I'm sure I wasn't the only eager to unwrap it!

Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward kick the collection off with The Merry Mistake, which has an enemies-to-lovers feel to it. Piper is starting her life over--shedding herself of excesses, following her dream, and paying it forward. When she mistakenly assumes the man sitting outside her building is homel…
