Cutie and the Beast (Cipher Office #3) by M.E. Carter Date Released: April 14, 2020 Smartypants Romance About Cutie and the Beast Living with her mother seemed like a good idea at the time. But Elliott Donovan’s living arrangements are not working for her anymore. Desperate to get back on her financial feet after a divorce and out from under her mother’s thumb, Elliott takes a job in the child care center at Weight Expectations, a local gym. It has everything she needs – family friendly hours, more pay than she expected, and a super cute trainer who just happens to have part of his house for rent. Abel DiSoto was living the good life until his wife walked out taking half of the family income with her. The blow to his ego was bad enough, but after a fire at the gym scattered Abel’s clients, and consequently his commissions, he’s stuck figuring out how to make ends meet, too. Renting out the master suite of his house to his new co-worker seems like an easy solution. T

Review: A Love Song for Liars by Piper Lawson (Rivals #1)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Wildfire Marketing Solutions. I've been eagerly awaiting the release of A Love Song for Liars , the first in Piper Lawson's new series,  Rivals , ever since I finished Forever Wicked , the fourth and final novel in the author's Wicked series, from which this new trilogy is spun off of. The free prequel, Love Notes , managed to whet my appetite even further, and goodness me, but did this author surpass my hopes and expectations for Annie Jamieson and Tyler Adams's first full-length novel. There was once a time when Annie Jamieson looked at Tyler Adams and saw the boy who was her closest friend, the one who embraced the girl that she was, and whose music called to her soul. He would become her father's protégé and now, he lives in their family home and goes to the same school that she attends. One act of betrayal breaks Annie's trust as well as her heart. She may can't forgive him, bu

Review: Undeniably Perfect (Perfectly Imperfect Love #1)

Image
Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Wildfire Marketing Solutions. This book came along on a day where life was more stressful than the norm, and it was exactly what I needed. I'd read S.E. Rose's Chronicles of a Hot Mess and Chronicles of a Rockin' Mess late last year and enjoyed my introduction to her writing, so when the opportunity to read the first in a brand-new series came along, I hopped right to it. Undeniably Perfect is book one in Rose's Perfectly Imperfect Love series, and readers meet a twenty-seven-year-old baseball player named Kent Moore and a twenty-four-year-old photographer named Tabitha Crane. They're both good at what they do, but as talented as these two may be, they're struggling at the moment. When they met during a photo shoot, Kent sees an opportunity to help out Tabby and seizes upon it, simply because he's that sort of guy--an honest-to-goodness nice guy. They're lives becomes entangled

Book Spotlight: The Billionaire's Fake Fiancée by Annika Martin

The Billionaire's Fake Fiancée (Billionaires of Manhattan #4) by Annika Martin Date Released: April 28, 2020 About The Billionaire's Fake Fiancée I’m no Prince Charming, and the last thing I want is a Cinderella. My instructions were simple: scour the city for a fake fiancée who’s not my type at all. Have her on my jet Monday morning, dressed appropriately for a yacht vacation. I need a woman believable enough to convince a certain client that I’ve changed my playboy ways…yet nothing like the supermodels and socialites I usually have on my arm. Somebody too annoying to tempt me—no emotional entanglements, thank you very much. This is business only. If she’s unfazed by my looks and wealth, all the better. Should be easy. Right? Apparently not, because my people go and hire Tabitha. My hairdresser. What were they thinking? Yes, I said annoying, but I didn’t mean her, the most frustrating woman in the world. Tabitha is sunshiny. She has a pet hamster
