Review: P.S. I'm Still Yours by Eliah Greenwood

Note: An advance reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Wildfire Marketing. "You ruined my life by not being in it, Hadley. So, yes, fucking apologize to me." It's been a while since I've rated a book five-plus stars, but I'm not all that surprised that it's the newest book from Eliah Greenwood that's earned it. P.S. I'm Still Yours  is in the same book universe as the author's Easton High  series--which I was rather obsessed with--but it absolutely works as a standalone, so if you have yet to read the aforementioned series or are new to Greenwood's work, this latest release from her is an excellent one to dive into. All that being said, I really hope that this also serves as the first in a spin-off series because there are quite a few notable supporting characters that I wouldn't mind getting to know a whole lot better, and by "wouldn't mind" I mean "desperately need to". The summer Hadley Queen turn

Release Day: Before the Sunset by Laura Pavlov

Before the Sunset (Cottonwood Cove #4) by Laura Pavlov Release Date: September 20, 2023 About Before the Sunset He’s an actor in need of an image makeover. She’s determined to show her ex-fiancé that she’s moved on. A fake relationship between two best friends is the perfect solution. Or is it? Reese Murphy has been my best friend since before we took our first steps. She’s the yin to my yang. The peanut butter to my jelly. It’s all platonic, of course, as we made a pact years ago that we’d never cross the line. But then she took a job abroad and moved away for a year. To say I’ve been lost without her would be a massive understatement. She’s finally coming home, and I couldn’t be happier about it. And then she presents me with a proposition... Pretend to be her boyfriend. I am an actor, after all, so it should be a piece of cake.   It’s all part of her grand plan to show her ex-fiancé that she’s moved on. My agent wants me to clean up my image, so it would be a win-win for both

Review: Before the Sunset by Laura Pavlov (Cottonwood Cove #4)

Note: An advance reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author. The fake relationship trope isn't one of my go-tos, but Laura Pavlov definitely puts her own spin to it in the fourth novel in her Cottonwood Cove  series. With  Before the Sunset , the author add is the element of a very real friendship between the main characters, Finn Reynolds and Reese Murphy. These two have been best friends since they were children, and now that they're on the cusp of turning thirty, life has presented a couple of challenges their way. Finn may be a successful actor with a popular series, but he's also got a female co-star spreading very nasty--and very false--rumors about him. On the other hand, Reese has just learned that her ex-fiancé has started a new relationship, and now she's feeling a bit lost. When Finn flies to London to be there for his girl, people mistakenly believe that "my girl" meant "girlfriend" in a romantic sense. With Reese ready to return to
