Review: Inked Devotion by Carrie Ann Ryan (Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins #3)

Note: An advance reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Give Me Books Promotions.

Carrie Ann Ryan takes readers back to her Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins series with the third novel, Inked Devotion. Book three features Benjamin Montgomery, twin brother of Beckett, and Brenna Garrett, Beckett's best friend. The Montgomerys have welcomed Brenna into their family and made her feel like she was part of them. When her best friend falls in love, the rest of his family think that the reason she and Beckett are on the outs is because she has feelings for him. But her once-upon-a-time crush on him isn't why they have issues. Maybe the road trip back to visit her family is exactly what she needs. When Benjamin invites himself on the road trip, Brenna appreciates the company. They both need a break from everything they have going on. What happens when alcohol and lust leads to a night that results in them making choices that may change them forever?

There's something about these Montgomerys that draws everyone to them. From the original Montgomerys that Carrie Ann Ryan created years ago, the family has branched out, with the latest one being the ones in Fort Collins, Colorado. Three books in, and I continue to be intrigued by this newest set of siblings. After the events in the second book, I was curious to see what would happen to Brenna, and I seriously liked that she was paired with Benjamin. These two had certain burdens weighing on them as they set off on their road trip, and talk about a life-changing trip! This was a friends-to-lovers romance with the addition of the whole falling-for-your-best-friend's-sibling (or alternatively, falling-for-your-sibling's-best-friend) aspect of it, and I enjoyed it to bits. I'm giving Inked Devotion five stars out of five stars and look forward to the rest of the series.
