Review: 1026 Wild Way by Mandi Beck (Cherry Falls #43)

Note: An advance reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Candi Kane PR.

We're back in Cherry Falls, this time by way of Mandi Beck's contribution to the multi-author series. 1026 Wild Way is the 43rd book, and this novella features the eldest among the Wild brothers, Weston. Alongside his two younger brothers, Granite and Jett, Wes wants to continue making Wild Brothers' Adventures into the success that it is for years to come. When a travel blogger named Blake Ainsley books an excursion package, Wes recognizes how it would benefit the family business. He's got everything planned out; what he hasn't quite planned for is the fact that he was expecting Blake to be a man, and man, oh man, the beautiful, curvy female who crosses their threshold is 100% all woman.

It's just dawned on me that it's been over two years since I last read something from Mandi Beck, and goodness, but how I've missed her storytelling. I was quite entertained by this book, which turns out to be the first featuring the Wild brothers, so it's like a mini-series from Beck within the Cherry Falls book world. I liked the banter between Wes and Blake as much as I enjoyed the dynamic among Wes, Granite, and Jett. Wes was the sort of hero that may have been all gruff and stoic, but he clearly loved his brothers and was protective of and smitten with Blake. As for Blake, I seriously wanted to give her a hug and be best buds with her. 1026 Wild Way gets 4.5 stars, and I look forward to Jett's story!
