Review: The Other Side of Green by Anna Bloom (The Other Side of Us #2)

Ah, the angst! Goodness, but how this continuation of Lyra Lennox and Jack Cross's story gave my heart a workout. Because The Other Side of Green picks up where The Other Side of Blue left off, suffice it to say that these need to be read in order. After all, Anna Bloom's The Other Side of Us duet features one couple and a continuous story line, but since both novels have been published and released, you won't have to wait after you get to the evil cliffhanger found in the series starter if you're either new to the author or to this duology.

I'm going to make a really serious effort to NOT mention any details or information in this review for fear that it could turn out to be spoilery for anyone who has yet to read the duet. Let me instead focus on what was going on in my head while I was reading the conclusion to Lyra and Jack's story. These two went through A LOT in order to get to their happily-ever-after, so that if anyone really deserved that HEA, it was them. I loved how devoted these two were to each other. There was no question how much they loved and were extremely protective of one another. The twists and turns had me super anxious most of the time, but that's what happens when everything comes together as well as Anna Bloom has written this epic romance. I'm handing The Other Side of Green 4.5 stars.
