"My name is Whitaker Aldrich. And I'm in love with you."
The smirk fell from her face and her brown eyes filled with tears. "I'm Grace Abernathy and I'm in love with you, too."

I've read and enjoyed Amie Knight's first eight books, but I very much adored this latest one. Dare I say that it's most probably--abso-effing-lutely!--my favorite read from her? Bad Boy Billionaire is a standalone; it also happens to be a standout, thanks to some wonderful storytelling and a cast of characters that I seriously wanted to hug. The fact that it's one of my favorite tropes, the single-parent romance, was a bonus, but even if it wasn't, I honestly think it would've been impossible for me not to be as smitten as I was!

When twenty-three-year-old aspiring writer Grace Abernathy first sees the too gorgeous and oh-so-cocky guy in the leather jacket, she immediately labels him a bad boy, and she is so done with bad boys. Thank goodness he's nothing more than a stranger she's unlikely to meet ever again. Only she does, and that's when she begins to wonder if her first impression of Whitaker Aldrich may have been wrong. It turns out that the thirty-one-year-old man is a single parent to an adorable six-year-old son named Andrew, and he's actually a good guy. When she becomes the nanny, she knows she needs to keep her heart in check even as she falls for both her boys. But as always, Fate has plans of its own.

This as a feel-good read because boy, oh boy, did it make me feel good while I was reading it! Grace and Whit's story--one that they very much shared with sweet Andrew (because only Grace and her mom could call him Andy--was lighthearted because it made my heart feel light. This was one of those rare occasions that I didn't require any angst because the story didn't need any. I was so taken by these two, not just as a couple but as two separate entities as well. I swear, the only thing that would have made this more perfect was if there was a dog or cat! Even without a fur baby, Bad Boy Billionaire snags five-plus stars.
