Nooooo! This cannot be the end!!! Waaah! The Brothers Pickle (or alternatively, the Pickle Brothers) have been such a joy to get to know over three books, and since there are only three of them, this last book is quite bittersweet. Now, these are all standalones, so they can pretty much be read without necessarily reading any of the other books. They've never been classified as a series nor is there even a title for it. All that being said, I highly recommend you read all three novels anyway. I promise, they're all wholly entertaining!

Spicy Pickle is all about the youngest brother--the baby Pickle, if you will--Anthony Pickle. He owns Boulder Pickle, a delicatessen whose popular has only been on the rise since their ghost pepper pickle challenge went crazy viral on TikTok. When a TV guesting turns out to be an ambush of sorts from Magnolia Boudreaux, the daughter of the owners of a rival deli, The Tasty Pepper, a great promotional opportunity becomes a PR nightmare for both Anthony and Magnolia. Joining forces to battle the negative press and social media coverage may be their best offensive, but is faking a romantic relationship going too far?

Instead of being tickled pink, Anthony and Magnolia's story had me pickled green! I know, I know, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense, nor is it funny, but you know what is funny? THIS BOOK! It made me smile and laugh, as well as feel all the sweet and swoony stuff that comes from a fabulously written romantic comedy. JJ Knight doesn't skimp on either of those two elements, and the fact that the main characters were as endearing as they were. The idea of two rivals coming together to save their businesses and reputations and then going as far as becoming a fake couple was a success because of Knight's great storytelling. I'm going to miss all things Pickle! Five stars go to Spicy Pickle
