Review: All the Love in the World by Karina Halle

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author.

If you're an avid reader of Karina Halle's books, then her new holiday anthology is not to be missed! All the Love in the World features four new stories featuring well-loved and favorite characters from highly memorable series: A Christmas Cartel (the Dirty Angels trilogy), The Off-Season (Love, in English, The Forbidden Man, and The One that Got Away), Arrow Through the Heart (The McGregors books), Ghosted (the Experiment in Terror series, Veiled, and the Devils duology), and A Nordic New Year (Nordic Royals). Also included here are several shorter stories that had been previously published in a number of limited edition multi-authored anthologies: Dark Paradise (Dirty Angels), Defying the Dust (Artists), That 70s Interview (Devils), Target (EIT), and Written in the Stars (Love, in English and Where Sea Meets Sky). Talk about a lovely buffet of Halle-penned goodness!

Among all of the represented past novels and series in this holiday anthology, there are only two books that I never had the opportunity to read before, so I was a wee bit clueless as to the stories--Love, in English and Where Sea Meets Sky--so I did skip on Written in the Stars. That being said, I enjoyed all the rest of the ones in this collection, and my Karina Halle-loving heart was thrilled to be able to touch base with some of my favorite characters. My top two favorites were Arrow Through the Heart, which featured those wonderfully loving and loyal McGregors who know what family is all about and would do anything for each other, and Ghosted, which had me wishing I could give Perry and Dex a hug because I seriously missed these two and having Ada and Jay, as well as the Knightlys and Daniel (Palomino), was like a stocking stuffed with goodies. Also, if you've read Halle's announcement regarding the EIT series, you seriously need to read this new story. A Nordic New Year and A Christmas Cartel were also great reads, and everything else was quite fun. I finished All the Love in the World with a smile on my face. Four stars.
