Review: Kiss Me Again by Emma Hart (Kiss Me #3)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Social Butterfly PR.

Emma Hart closes out her Kiss Me trilogy with an enemies-to-lovers slash falling-for-my-sibling's-best-friend romance. Kiss Me Again is the story of Ava Parker and Ethan Hawkins. She's twenty-five and is in desperate need of a roommate, but not desperate enough to agree that it be her older brother's best friend. Twenty-seven-year-old Ethan is the bane of her existence...and the guy she's had a crush on for thirteen years. Unfortunately, any feelings of affection she may have for him are overtaken by not-so-positive emotions, but then that's par for the course with them, given that they simply do NOT get along. At all. So, living together would be absolutely disastrous to say the least. But then Ava does the unthinkable: she says YES. Soon enough, Ethan is in her space and there's no place for her to get away from his presence. Being in such close quarters could force her to do something drastic...like, maybe, kiss him. Which is something she isn't even considering doing. But when they do kiss, she wants it...again.

This was a good way to close what's been a fun series from Emma Hart, who's proven to know a thing or two when it comes to writing romantic comedies. Ava and Ethan had the whole love-hate thing going on, which made for some entertaining moments in the book. Admittedly, there were times where Ava acted a wee bit like a brat, which made her behavior rather frustrating. Thankfully, Ethan was more patient even through the mutual needling about. It was clear to everyone that these two belonged together, even as they resisted, or tried to resist since they were failing miserably once they were living in the same place as roomies. Hart satisfies Kiss Me Again. It gets four stars. ♥
