Review: Fall by C.A. Harms (Montgomery Men #3)

It’s been a couple of years since I read the second Montgomery Men book, but C.A. Harms has just released the third and final novel and it was so worth the wait! With his oldest brother tying the knot and the youngest one getting engaged, twenty-eight-year-old Knoxville Montgomery is happy for both of them, but he isn’t necessarily looking for “the one”…until he meets a stubborn and sassy college senior working as a server at the wedding. She isn’t taken by his charm or good looks, and she doesn’t hesitate to put him in his place. Knox is both smitten and intrigued by her.
A year ago, Tinley Richardson was just a regular girl living her life and going to school in North Carolina. After a heinous act is committed, she leaves everything behind and moves to New York. Now twenty-three, Tinley has a hardened shell around her, and she refuses to share anything truly personal about herself with anyone. But when she meets a private investigator who doesn’t know how to accept the word “no”, Tinley’s defenses slowly but surely begin to lower. Knox Montgomery makes her want to believe in love again, but how long can she keep her darkest secret from him?
Fall was an amazing read, one that surpassed any and all expectations I had for it. I’ve been waiting quite a while for this book, and now that I’m done reading it, C.A. Harms has undoubtedly ended this lovely series on a high note. Knox and Tinley’s love story is inspiring, especially with everything that Tinley went through and how Knox persevered in showing her that what they had was worth fighting for. This was also a reminder of the power of family and the love and support you get from those who accept you without any prerequisites. I’m giving Fall five out of five stars. ♥
