Review: Julian by Michelle Heard (Trinity Academy #4)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Candi Kane PR.

I've been looking forward to reading Julian ever since Michelle Heard announced her plans for it, and I was a tad nervous because this book had huge shoes to fill, what with the great reads that Falcon, Mason, and Lake--the original Trinity Academy trilogy--turned out to be. Well, I'm happy to say that Julian was a standout, just like the three before it (and not just because Julian Reyes's book is the first one without any bit of delicious abs on display.

Jamie Truman wanted just one night to let loose and let go, and that's exactly what she did with the broody but downright gorgeous stranger. She had no idea she would see him again, only this time, the package came with a name: Julian Reyes, he twenty-seven-year-old business partner of her brother-in-law. The problem? Jamie didn't inform him she is a nineteen-year-old freshman at Trinity Academy--the same academy Julian is now chairman of.

Julian caught the attention of many readers as Falcon's older brother in the first book, and Michelle Heard made sure the wait for his own story was worth the wait. Jamie was the perfect partner for him, and the back and forth between the two of them was what made this book such an enticing read. Having the other characters from the first three books was an added bonus, so if you haven't read them, hop to it already! I'm awarding Julian five stars. ♥
