Review: All the Truths by Rina Kent (Lies & Truth #2)

Just him.
My villain and my savior.
My damnation and my salvation.
The only person I ever told my secret.

Give me a minute here. I'm just... Wow. Talk about one heck of a roller coaster ride! My expectations were at a high going into All the Truths, and we have All the Lies to thank for that because Rina Kent had us primed for twists and turns, ups and downs, and all the loop-the-loops. This second and final novel in the Lies & Truths series picks up where the first one left off. Reina Ellis has come to the painful realization that Asher Carson, the man she wants to wrap herself around, is the same one she should be running far, far away from. Memories are trickling back, but as she tries to reconcile everything that's in her head and what's in her heart, how will she convince Ash to believe whatever it is she confesses to him? When all is said and done, can Ash trust this woman he desires and despises?

Gah! Reviews like this are difficult to write because I'm itching to list down every single thing about this book that had me all excited, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who has yet to read the duet. Seriously, this is the sort of story that you could go into blind and still enjoy immensely. That being said, All the Lies MUST be read before All the Truths or else you're going to get lost. They're tied together and have to be read in order. Suffice it to say, that there were certain revelations that caught me unaware, but I'm feeling rather proud that I guessed a couple of them as well. Reina and Ash went through the gauntlet, and throughout, I just hung on for the ride. This duet definitely had me sit up and take notice of Rina Kent's writing, and I shall certainly be checking out her back list to see what I've been missing out on. For now, I'm so relishing the book hangover from All the Truths. Five-plus stars. ♥
