Review: Passion Rising by JA Huss & Johnathan McClain (Original Sin #4)

Note: This ARC was provided by the authors in exchange for an honest review.

When a series comes to a close, expectations are often higher because no one wants something to have either started with a bang and then maintained such awesomeness or increased it to end with a whimper. In the case of JA Huss and Johnathan McClain's Original Sin series, Maddie Clayton and Tyler Morgan's intense and intoxicating story love, revenge, and redemption has been fantastically consistent. Everything comes to a head with the fourth and final novel, Passion Rising. These two have been through hell and back, and there's been more than one form of hell that they not only endured but needed to rise above. If you've been on the journey with Maddie and Tyler from the beginning, and you're just about to dive into the conclusion to the series, then you're in for a treat because this was everything I could have hoped for the both of them. If you've yet to meet the twosome, remember that the books need to be read in order!

No spoilers. Yeah, I'm sorry if you were looking for some sort of hint as to what was waiting for Maddie and Ty in this series ender of theirs, but again, as was the case with the first three novels, I don't think it would be right to mention bits and pieces of the book and think it was all innocent on my end and only realize later on that it may be considered spoilery for those of you who have yet to read this book in particular or the series as a whole. What I will say is that JA Huss and Johnathan McClain do their series, their main characters, and their readers justice with this ending. Maddie and Ty have come so far and while there were countless stumbles and fumbles between them, these two deserved one hell of a happily-ever-after. Do they get it? Well... Actually... You see. Yeah, shutting up now. No spoilers, remember? Just read the book or books, people! Fingers crossed we get more from Huss and McClain in the future. Five stars for Passion Rising! ♥
