Review: Crave Thy Neighbor by Teagan Hunter (Roommate Romps #3)

Crave Thy Neighbor is the third book in Teagan Hunter's Roommate Romps series, and this time around, she's paired up Maya West and Nolan Brooks, both of whom should be familiar to those who have been following the series. These two may have insane chemistry, but Nolan doesn't do commitment, and he certainly doesn't do children. Naturally, this is a problem given the fact that Maya has a twelve-year-old son, Sam. But when they find themselves in desperate need of a place to stay while waiting for their new apartment to be ready, it's Nolan who ends up becoming her temporary roommate when they move into his place. Acting on the simmering attraction they've had is a definite no-no, not when they're sharing space. However, close quarters make for even closer encounters of the intimate kind. They're roomies for the next two months. Will that be long enough to satisfy their craving for each other or could there be room for more?

As always, Teagan Hunter delivers a romantic comedy read with all the heart and heat that she's known for. I liked seeing Nolan develop and evolve as someone who was adverse to commitment and attachments. I was curious to see how he would do having someone like Sam around him all the time, and aside from Nolan's relationship with Maya, it was this other relationship with Maya's pre-teen son that held my fascination. Aside from the humor, there was also enough angst to satisfy the angst addict in me, and everything just came together quite nicely, making Crave Thy Neighbor a 4.5-starred read.
