Review: My Kind of Perfect by Nikki Ash (Finding Love #3)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Enticing Journey Book Promotions.

Nikki Ash closes out her Finding Love series with a sweet romance between two roommates who are seemingly opposites but unexpectedly find love, friendship, and family together. My Kind of Perfect is Georgia Scott and Chase Matthews's story. If you're familiar with the series, you'll recall that Georgia is Lexi Scott's sister and Chase is Alec Sterling's best friend; their story plays out in the second book, My Kind of Beautiful. That being said, you can read each book in the series independently of each other. But hey, why do that when you can read three good romances and have all the feels times three?

Twenty-one-year-old Georgia Scott is shy and keeps to herself, focusing most of her attention on her job as a website designer. Her roommate, however, certainly gets around. After catching his wife cheating on him, thirty-year-old firefighter Chase Matthews has spent his post-divorce life hooking up with women. When he realizes just how much time Georgia spends home, he decides to take her out to enjoy herself. In the process, they forge a friendship; but there's also a spark of attraction simmering between them. Neither expects to fall in love with each other, but that's exactly what happens. They want nothing more than a future together, but Chase's past is about to come calling.

This! This was my favorite book in the series! I loved getting to know Georgia and Chase. He did well pulling her out of her shell and experiencing things outside of her comfort zone, and she was great in inspiring him to see that he can find love and trust in it again. I really enjoyed seeing their relationship grow and develop, highlighting that though what they had wasn't perfect, they made the effort to work on it and put their faith in their love for each other. I did notice one hiccup, though, and it had to do with the mention of Hazel's hair being black and taking after her birth mother in that respect. However, said birth mother's hair was mentioned as being dyed black in the beginning of the book, so... Other than that, My Kind of Perfect was pretty close to exactly that. 4.5 stars.
