Review: Found by Claudia Burgoa (Everhart #3)

Note: This ARC was provided by the author via InkSlinger PR in exchange for an honest review.

Hazel Beesley has lost her way more times than she'd thought possible, each time being left to the wayside by the person she thought would be by her side along her journey. It happened with both of her parents. It happened with the boy she loved--the one she eventually married. And it's happened yet again with the man who may not have been her first love, but the one she believed would be her last. Now, she's done relying on someone else to help her find her way. She intends to do that on her own, and the first step she's taken is heading back to her hometown of San Francisco. It's the start of a new chapter in her life...and then her past comes looking for her. Elliot McFee wants the wife he still loves back, and Scott Everhart needs the woman he's fallen in love with him. Both men have hurt Hazel, leaving her heart cracked in places. If she gives either of them a chance to become a part of her life once again, will she be setting herself up for heartache yet again? Hazel has loved Elliot and Scott for so long, and if she's honest with herself, she still loves both men. Whose heart will find its way back to their Bee?

If you've met Claudia Burgoa's Colthurst-Decker clan, you know that she does family and romance really well, with each member finding their happily-ever-after while strengthening the bonds of family along the way. If you loved that family in the Unexpected series, I dare you not to fall in love with the the Everhart brothers. I'm not saying that the series as a whole and the individual books are the same, but that theme of family and love prevailing above all else is a familiar one here. Three books in and my love for this series has yet to wane. Hazel was a character that readers of the books first met in Flawed, formerly titled All of You, All of Me, and now she finally gets a chance to have the kind of happily-ever-after her sister Willow has. To be honest, it was difficult to choose between Elliot and Scott. These were two very different men who had one vital thing in common: they both loved Hazel. I'm not going to say who she ends up choosing, but her choice wasn't a surprise simply because it became clear that while she loved both men, she was IN love with only one. Maybe the other guy could get his own HEA? Five stars for Found. ♥
