Release Blitz: The Mogul and the Muscle by Claire Kingsley

The Mogul and the Muscle (Bluewater Billionaires #2) by Claire Kingsley Date Released: October 11, 2019
About The Mogul and the Muscle “I wanted this man’s arms around me, cocooning me in safety. I wanted to feel like I didn’t have to be brave for a few hours. I wanted to let him be my courage. My protection. My shield.”
Cameron Whitbury—billionaire aerospace mogul—can engineer her way out of any problem. Sure, she’s living with the threat of a potential sex scandal thanks to her lying ex. And that attempted mugging in her parking garage might not have been a random attack.
But she’s totally got this. Sacrifice her privacy to an overprotective bodyguard? No thanks. She doesn’t need a six-foot-five, motorcycle-riding, square-jawed, hazel-eyed man-beast shadowing her every move.
Jude Ellis—one-man security operation and professional problem solver—is ready to retire from the cloak and dagger stuff to live a normal life. He doesn’t need another client. Not even one with coppery-red hair and m…

Review: The Mogul and the Muscle by Claire Kingsley (Bluewater Billionaires #2)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Enticing Journey Book Promotions.
The Mogul and the Muscle is the second standalone novel in the multi-authored Bluewater Billionaires series which flips the script, having the women as the main characters rolling in dough instead of the usual alpha males. This is also my second read from the author, Claire Kingsley, and even though my previous read was from a couple of years ago, I had pretty high expectations given that previous experience and with book one, Lucy Score's The Price of Scandal, being a great start to this series. While this was an okay read, it wasn't exactly what I'd hoped for.

There's no denying just how intelligent Cameron Whitbury. After all, she'd have to be in order to reach the level of success she has in the aerospace industry. But in a moment of weakness, she trusted the wrong man, allowing an intimate moment to be caught on camera. Now, it's come back to haunt her. Not …

Release Blitz: Falling for My Brother's Best Friend by Piper Rayne

Falling for My Brother's Best Friend (The Baileys #4) by Piper Rayne Release Date: October 15, 2019
About Falling for My Brother's Best Friend Let’s say you’re an independent, self-sufficient woman who runs the family company and you find yourself falling for your little brother’s best friend. Now, more than ever, you need to count all the reasons why you need to abandon falling.

Abandon Falling #1 – He’s a womanizer. Hasn’t had a serious relationship a day in his life and changes women more often than he changes his sheets.
Abandon Falling #2 – He’s never serious. He cracks one-liners, mostly at your expense.
Abandon Falling #3 – When things go wrong, he seems unfazed and always remains in control. It’s so annoying.
Abandon Falling #4 – He has tattoos. Lots of them. Everywhere. Not to mention, he owns a tattoo parlor. (Damn it! Why doesn’t that sound like a bad thing anymore?)
Abandon Falling #5 – There’s a growing list of how different you two are. You can’t get along for fifteen min…

Review: Falling for My Brother's Best Friend by Piper Rayne (The Baileys #4)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the authors via Wildfire Marketing Solutions.
“I'm attracted to you, clearly. But the best way I can describe why I like you is to say that I see you. You've captured my attention since I was fourteen. True, back then it was probably teenage lust, but somewhere, that lust turned into more. And then when you moved in, all these emotions and feelings made me feel like I was drowning. I didn't know how to handle them. They came out as me challenging you and maybe picking on you at times. So when you ask me why I like you, it's a hard question for me to answer. It's like asking why the sun rises in the morning. It just does. It's how it was meant to be.”
Step aside, first three couples in Piper Rayne's The Baileys series; I have finally found "the one". To be honest, I was pinning my hopes on Savannah Bailey and Liam Kelly ever since Liam put his not-so-hidden talent for pushing Sav's buttons on d…

Book Spotlight: Awk-Weird by Avery Flynn

Awk-Weird (Ice Knights #2) by Avery Flynn Date Released:October 14, 2019 Entangled Amara
About Awk-Weird There’s more to me than just being awk-weird. I own my own flower shop, have some great friends, and I have my eye on adopting the most adorable kitten. But sadly, hot guys don’t tend to be blown away by my trivia-spouting, dorky self.
So, when a Thor-lookalike who happens to be a professional hockey player hits on me at my bestie's wedding rehearsal party ... You better believe I climbed that tree like a cat. And the face that it happened not once, not twice, but three times? Yeah, that's pretty much a once-in-a-lifetime experience for a woman like me.
There's zero chance I'll end up ever seeing him again...right?
Until the pregnancy test comes up positive. What happens next?
Oh my God, I wish I knew...

Review: Awk-Weird by Avery Flynn (Ice Knights #2)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by Entangled Publishing.
Awk-Weird is the second novel in Avery Flynn's Ice Knights hockey romance series from Entangled Publishing's Amara line. Florist Tess Gardner has a pretty good life--she has her own business, she has a wonderful group of friends, and she's ready to share that good life of hers with a kitten who could win the title for cutest fur baby ever. However, she isn't exactly doing as well when it comes to the dating part of said life, not when she's more awk-weird than a-dork-able and guys not really seeing as her someone with girlfriend potential, though at this point, she'd probably settle for a hook-up worth writing home about--not that she'd actually do that...the writing, not the hooking up. So when she catches the eye of professional hockey player Cole Phillips during her best friend's wedding rehearsal dinner and they end up sleeping together, it proves to be far more life-changing t…

About A Lie for a Lie From the New York Times bestselling author of the Pucked series comes a romantic comedy about instant attraction, second chances, and not-so-little white lies.
Sometimes I need an escape from the demands, the puck bunnies, and the notoriety that come with being an NHL team captain. I just want to be a normal guy for a few weeks. Even better, she has absolutely no idea who I am.
