Review: My Big, Fat Bloodsucker Secret Baby by Bella Jacobs (The Wonderfully Witches of Nightfall, New Hampshire #2)

Note: An advance reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author.

We're back in the town of Nightfall for the second novel in Bella Jacobs's Wonderfully Witches of Nightfall, New Hampshire. This time we have the story of Annie Wonderfully and Baron Blackmore, the former being the sister of Blaire and the latter being the brother of Darcy, both of whom got their big, fat bloodsucker happily-ever-afterlife in the series starter, My Big, Fat Bloodsucker Wedding. In My Big, Fat Bloodsucker Secret Baby, the most unlikely of couplings finally came to pass, but while Annie knows she and Baron are meant to be, Baron is still mired in guilt and grief and declares their time together a mistake. Whether he likes it or not, though, he and Annie will remain connected, and not just because their respective siblings are together. The impossible has happened--Annie is pregnant. Can the vampire who doesn't believe he deserves love allow himself to love the bewitching mother of his unborn child or will Baron choose to leave Nightfall and Annie?

This series is turning out to be one heck of a Wonderfully vampy good time! I thoroughly enjoyed Annie and Baron's story. My heart went out to Baron, and I could empathize with all the negative feelings he had swirling within him after he experienced such devastating loss. I loved seeing Annie come into her own her, gaining confidence and knowing her worth as much as I did seeing Baron realize that he was worthy of love. There was a lot about My Big, Fat Bloodsucker Secret Baby that I enjoyed, and I can't wait to see what Bella Jacobs is planning for all the Wonderfullys and Blackmores. Five stars.
