Review: Wrecked & Reclaimed by Bink Cummings (Sacred Sinners MC - Texas Chapter #5)

I just wanted to start this review off with a quick reminder: Wrecked & Reclaimed is the fifth book in Bink Cummings's Sacred Sinners MC - Texas Chapter series AND the second in the Wrecked duet, so there could be spoilers for those of you who have yet to read either the first Wrecked book--Wrecked & Restless--or any of the Sacred Sinners MC - Texas Chapter prior to that. Basically, proceed with caution, and don't say you weren't warned!

Rosie never thought she'd get her happily-ever-after. The darkness was her friend, and she was the girl that no one chose--the girl who never really belonged. And then Kade came along, and he knew the darkness just as well as Rosie did. She was never supposed to fall in love, and she certainly never believed anyone would fall for a girl like her. But Kade is not some ordinary guy. Maybe, just maybe, it was time for Rosie to reclaim her own happy ending.

If there was any character among all the ones Bink Cummings has created that deserved to have an HEA, no one comes close to Rosie. Her journey was never an easy one, but in Kade, she finally had someone who got her--as in wholeheartedly understood her, heart, body, mind, and soul. Rosie's tale is a heartrending one, and I dare say it's among Cummings's best work to date. Five stars for Wrecked & Reclaimed. Remember to read the books in order! ♥

Review: The Room Mate by Kendall Ryan (Roommates #1)

I do believe I've found myself a new book boyfriend to drool, erm, swoon over in Cannon Roth, male main character in bestselling author Kendall Ryan's Roommates series starter, The Room Mate . This had a familiar romance trope--falling-for-your-best-friend's-sibling--and yet I didn't find it boring or tiresome in any way. This has both heart and heat as well as lighthearted humor along with a bit of heart-tugging angst and it's headlined by a couple of main characters that I was totally smitten with from the moment Paige got a pretty good idea of just how much her best friend's younger brother Cannon had grown up from the nerdy boy who followed them around like a puppy when they were kids.
