Review: Snitches Get Stitches by Lani Lynn Vale (Bear Bottom Guardians MC #8)

I just can't get enough of Lani Lynn Vale's Bear Bottom Guardians MC series! From the characters to the stories they have to tell, I'm a total fangirl over how different each standalone book is yet everything is tied together quite nicely. With the eighth addition, Vale gave readers one heck of a revelation that knocked me for a loop. While this can be read independently of the those that came before it, there's a particular story line that I think will be better understood if you've already read the novels that came before it, especially the series starter, Mess Me Up. Still, you can go ahead and jump straight into this one if you really want to.
Snitches Get Stitches is the story of Bear Bottom Guardian's very own Liner, aka Josiah Paldecki. For quite some time, something's been bothering him, but he can't really put his finger on what it may be. He catches the briefest of glimpses of a woman who intrigues him, but when he sees her again, it's as if she's someone else completely. Sure, it's possible that she was just having a bad day or maybe she's got some sort of personality disorder. And then, it dawns on him: identical twins. They may look exactly alike but that's where the similarities end, and when the opportunity arises for Liner to rescue the twin who's captured his imagination--and his heart--he will go above and beyond to do so...even if it means letting go.
Notice: I made no mention of who Liner is partnered with. Again, if you've read the series, you may have an idea who it may be, but yeah, I'm not going to play spoiler here and have those who haven't read the book hate me. I did love the connection Liner shared with this woman, and how he was able to help her climb out of the shell that she felt protected her from those who wanted to do her harm. The flow of the story was consistent and pretty quick-paced and again, Lani Lynn Vale has shown she's an expert when it comes to adding her own bits of surprises in terms of the direction of the story. The only reason this book isn't getting a higher rating is that I had to suspend my disbelief when it came to the twins. They had different eye colors, and the fact no one noticed right away seemed weird. Still, Snitches Get Stitches gets 4.5 stars. ♥
