Review: Hollywood Prince by Natasha Madison (Hollywood Royalty #3)

I move over her slowly, taking my time, our noses touching, our lips so close I can feel her soft breath over me. Our eyes never leave each other while I take her, she has to know that it's everything. I tell her all this with my eyes. I watch hers looking into mine, hoping she sees.

And the Hollywood Royalty series bounces back! The first novel was love at first read, and while the second one was likable, it didn't meet the lofty expectations I had set. Now here we are with the third book--and what I'm guessing is the final one in the series--and I absolutely fell head over heels for the story of a Hollywood superstar and the woman tasked to clean up his less than stellar image as he takes on the most important role in his career.

Carter Johnson was only eight years old when he was discovered during a casting call, and for the past twenty-five years, no one could ever accuse him of not putting in the work to reach the status that he has in the industry. Unfortunately for him, he's gained himself a reputation for his sexual conquests, and it's affecting how the public sees him. Carter is unapologetic, yet he has no choice but to agree to a handler. Can he handle his fiery-hot PR girl?

With her internship up at Hillcrest, Erin is given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to further show she's got what it takes to be given a position in the PR department in the New York office. All she has to do is rein in one Hollywood playboy's wandering ways. It's easier said than done, but if she and Carter simply work together then they both get what they want. What happens when what they want is for their public relations to become a private relationship?

I feel like all three books in this series shared an enemies-to-lovers feel to them, although to varying degrees, but I loved that they all had distinct enough stories to tell. Carter and Erin had made their respective presumptions about each other in the beginning, so I liked seeing them learn more about one another and realize that there was a lot more there than they first thought. The development as individuals and a couple was a favorite of mine here.

I absolutely enjoyed being able to sit back and simply bear witness to Carter and Erin's love story. These two had a connection but Carter had trust issues and Erin had to believe a playboy like Carter could truly change his ways. There was one particular twist in the story that I never saw coming, that fit in so perfectly with the book so kudos to Natasha Madison for that and for a truly wonderfully written romance novel in Hollywood Prince. Five-plus stars. ♥
