Review: Work Violation by BJ Harvey (Cook Brothers #2)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Enticing Journey Book Promotions. Today he's wearing navy dress pants, a white open-neck linen shirt, and a grey tweed blazer over the top. On most other men, it would be stuffy and almost nerdy. On Jax, with his black thick-rimmed reading glasses, stylishly tousled hair, and bright, all-seeing amber eyes, it looks damn not. Geeky hot, read-me-a-textbook-and-I-won't-hear-a-word-of-it-because-I'm-too-busy-imaging-you-naked hot. He-asks-you-a-question-and-you-sit-there-all-starry-eyed-looking-like-an-idiot hot. Okay, I admit it. I'm totally addicted to the Cook brothers, and while this new book in the Cook Brothers  series is only my third read from BJ Harvey, I'm quite addicted to her writing now as well! Yep, I'm a Harvey Girl (a quick note: I know Harvey Girls were all the rage in the Western US in the 1880s, and I have no clue if the author's readers are called Harvey Girls, whic

Book Spotlight: Depraved by Trilina Pucci

Depraved (Sinful #3) by Trilina Pucci Date Released: July 31, 2019 About Depraved Savagery. Sin. Depravity—these are my virtues.  My religion.  My name is Dante Sovrano, head of the Chicago Mob, and I run this city. Everyone bows down to me. Except her. The moment I saw Sarah, I knew she’d be trouble.  She’s fiery and cutthroat, wrapped up in a lickable package.  But there are dark secrets hiding behind those gorgeous blue eyes. And I plan to know them all because she’ll have to make a deal with the devil to solve her problems. Too bad the devil always takes your soul. And I’ll be keeping it— Because Sarah London is mine. Review: Depraved by Trilina Pucci (Sinful #3)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Social Butterfly PR. Depraved is the awaited third novel in Trilina Pucci's dark romance series, Sinful , and it's every bit as damned decadent as I expected it to be. This is Dante Sovrano's story, and this man knows what it's like to have all the power in the world and have almost every single thing he wants at his beck and call...except for Sarah London. She's a take charge of woman, which is why she's effective in her position at Church, the private club that Dante and his brothers own. She's more than aware of Dante's interest in her, but she's pretty sure that the man is a Dominant, whether it be inside or outside of the bedroom. He's the head of his family and he's the head of the mafia--and the mafia IS family. He doesn't take orders from anyone, and Sarah is her own woman, the need to be independent and assertive brought about from the life she ran away fr

Review: An Affair in Paris by Brooke Blaine & Ella Frank (Fallen Angel #3.5)

Image
Short but scorchingly hot (which is how I'm keeping this review but I'm pretty sure it's not even a wee bit lukewarm...*snort laugh*), An Affair in Paris is the perfect morsel of deliciousness served up by the writing duo of Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank. This is a snippet in time between hot rock gods Jagger and Slade of the band Fallen Angel and Imogen, sister of their lead singer and friend, Halo. If you're looking for romantic love and an HEA, you won't find it here; but if you want a hell of a hot threesome to whet your appetite for anything from the Fallen Angel book universe as only Blaine and Frank can, this short story will get you a whole lot of satisfaction. You can pretty much read this as a standalone, but why miss out on all the Fallen Angel goodness, right? Go read the first three full-length novels-- Halo , Viper , and Angel --and see why readers are all giddy. Five stars for An Affair in Paris . ♥ ------------------------- Read my revie
