Review: Chasing Temptation by Joya Ryan (Chasing Love #2)

Penelope Diamond may be the good girl of Diamond, Kansas but she's got her eye on one particular bad boy to make sure there's no vanilla left in her by the time they're done. But getting Sebastian Strafford to agree to what she has in mind is no easy feat, especially with her overprotective brother being his best friend. Bass doesn't think Penny will be able the kind of man he is in the bedroom but as many as his reasons to turn her down are, all he can think of is the one reason to say yes: he wants her and has for years. With rules of their temporary tryst established, the two engage in fantasies they've both have of each other and Bass expands Penny's horizons when it comes to pleasure. But as their two-week limit comes closer, Penny finds herself wanting more but will Bass be able to be the kind of man she deserves?

Chasing Temptation is the second book in the Joya Ryan-penned Chasing Love series and tackles the story of Penny Diamond and Bass Strafford, who already had a noticeable connection in the first book. Bass may think she's the nice to his naughty but in as much as he teaches Penny everything about the kind of pleasure he enjoys engaging in, he learns a thing or two about his best friend's younger sister. These two are a perfect match and I loved that Penny kept pushing him emotionally as much as he did when it came to her physical needs. Just like with Chasing Trouble, this was a falling-for-your-best-friend's-sister story but with a far more erotic touch to it. As much as this group of friends mess with each other, the care and concern they have is one of the things I like most about the series. Chasing Temptation gets 4.5 stars. ♥
