Review: A Wife in Every Sense by Joanne Walsh (Europe's Hottest Billionaires #1)

Note: This ARC was provided by Entangled Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

Kate Burrows has been billionaire businessman Aleksei Aleksanou's personal assistant for over two years and work like a well-oiled machine, but it's time she move on, her growing feelings for him becoming difficult to manage, especially since she's more than aware of her boss's penchant for being with beautiful women. Of course, she has no idea that he's been wanting to sleep with her for as long as they've been working together but never wanted to cross that line and believed that she deserved to be with someone better. Then they decide to indulge their fantasies of each other and wind up with an unplanned pregnancy, one that leads Aleksei to propose marriage, only it sounds more like a business arrangement to Kate. Will she listen to her head or her heart, and can she really marry a man who doesn't believe in love?

A Wife in Every Sense by Joanne Walsh is the first book in the Europe's Hottest Billionaires series and has the somewhat shy and timid Kate Burrows falling for her boss, Greek billionaire Aleksei Aleksanou. It's always interesting to find out how an employer-employee romance will play out, and while this particular story began well enough, I found myself growing increasingly disappointed with Kate. She was insecure and unsure of herself and I wondered how she seemed to know so little about a man she worked so closely with for a couple of years. Then there was the whole jealousy thing that just got tiresome after a while. Oh and allow me to point out that there's a difference between a step-sibling and a half-sibling, and Aleksei had the latter. I wish I could have liked A Wife in Every Sense more than I did. It receives 2.5 stars. ♥
