A Q&A with Lisa Gail Green

1. How did you know Grace and Josh’s stories were going to continue?

I knew the second I finished the book that their story wasn’t done. Cam’s was, but there was too much about Heaven and Hell in this world that made their futures (and all our futures) uncertain. They may be in Heaven now, but that doesn’t mean their lives are perfect! I also knew that Keira had more to say.

2. Do you think Josh and Grace belong together?

This is the same answer I gave before and it still holds true: Every relationship goes through ups and downs, but I wouldn’t be a good writer if I didn’t do my best to put them through the worst. If they can stay in love after all I throw at them then YES! They deserve eternal love. 

But if you ask the same about Keira and Noah… Well, we’ll just have to see. Are they Josh and Grace? No. But they have their own kind of relationship. 

3. What do you hope readers will take away from this story?

I hope that readers question everything just like Josh and Grace. I hope that the many, many shades of grey when it comes to good vs. evil make people question the status quo – just like we always should in real life. I hope that readers feel like my characters are real and root for them.
