Review: A Greene Family Summer Bash by Piper Rayne (The Greene Family #3.5)

Just like with the Baileys, the writing duo of Piper Rayne has made the first interlude novella for the Greenes a must-read, especially if you want to be in the know of what's happening with this fam! A Greene Family Summer Bash is the fifth book and second novella in the Greene Family series. I recommend you read the books in order because there are potential spoilers, especially with regards to the first three full-length novels.

Without giving too much away, readers can catch up with the first three couples--Cade  Greene and Presley Knight, Adam and Lucy Greene, and Logan and Nikki Stone--as well as the OG couple, Hank and Marla Greene. There are also hints as to potential future couples, which I shall NOT divulge in this review because hello, spoilers. As always, it's fun with a bit of family drama and matchmaking from our two favorite seniors. 4.5 stars.

Review: The Room Mate by Kendall Ryan (Roommates #1)

I do believe I've found myself a new book boyfriend to drool, erm, swoon over in Cannon Roth, male main character in bestselling author Kendall Ryan's Roommates series starter, The Room Mate . This had a familiar romance trope--falling-for-your-best-friend's-sibling--and yet I didn't find it boring or tiresome in any way. This has both heart and heat as well as lighthearted humor along with a bit of heart-tugging angst and it's headlined by a couple of main characters that I was totally smitten with from the moment Paige got a pretty good idea of just how much her best friend's younger brother Cannon had grown up from the nerdy boy who followed them around like a puppy when they were kids.
