Review: Beautiful Ruin by Piper Lawson (Enemies #3)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Wildfire Marketing Solutions.

Piper Lawson closes out her Enemies trilogy with the sort of ending that her main characters and readers deserve. Beautiful Ruin picks up several months where Beautiful Sins left off. And this is where I remind anyone perusing this review that you must read the books in this series in order: Beautiful Enemy, Beautiful Sins, and Beautiful Ruin. This features one main couple, Raegan Madani and Harrison King, and a continuing story line.

Harrison King thought he knew what he was doing when he let Raegan Madani walk away from him. Revenge may be a dish served best cold, but a cold bed with Rae in it was pure torture. She'd given him her body and then her heart, and now, the time had come for him to reclaim it all back. The demons of their past are coming for them, but Harrison has no intention of backing down, not when it comes to the only woman he will ever love.

Ah, Rae and Harrison. These two had me going through a whole lot of feels from the moment their paths crossed in Piper Lawson's previous trilogy, Rivals, and all throughout their Enemies series. There were moments I was frustrated with both of them, but then there were all those times I absolutely understood why they couldn't stay away from each other for too long. Beautiful Ruin wrapped everything quite nicely, and it gets four stars.
