About Lock & Key: The Complete Series
Who holds the keys to trust? To loyalty? Redemption? A bleeding heart?
Sixteen years ago, I barely survived my old man’s murder, and I promised myself that never again would I surrender my heart. I left my hometown of Meager, South Dakota and never looked back. I didn't want a second chance, but that all changed in one night.
Forced to return home, I crashed into Lock—a sexy, brooding stranger I allowed myself to indulge in. No risk. I'd never see him again. But I was wrong. He was no stranger, and the past and present blew up in both our faces. Caught in the crossfire of two bike clubs’ ages old rivalry, our one night of beautiful and delicious turned bitter and ugly real fast, leaving both of us more lonely than before, running on empty, and still unwilling to admit it.
Now I feel things I'd forgotten about, want things I thought I'd cut out of my insides. Love not only stings when you lose it, when it’s ripped away, when it first sinks its teeth into you, it can cut just as raw and sting just as deep. You can’t fight it.
Real life is messy and strange, and our ride through it left plenty of bruises, slashed hearts, a few lifeless bodies, and blood and smoke in its wake. But it’s our story, this rather mangled tale.
Destiny brought me back to South Dakota, and destiny is showing me that I held those keys all along.

About Cat Porter
Cat Porter was born and raised in New York City, but also spent a few years in Europe, Texas and the suburbs along the way. As an introverted, only child, she had very big, but very secret dreams for herself. She graduated from Vassar College, was a struggling actress, a SoHo art gallery girl, special events planner, freelance writer, and had all sorts of other crazy jobs all hours of the day and night to help make those dreams come true. She has two children's books traditionally published under her maiden name. She now lives on a beach in Greece with her husband, three children, and huge Cane Corso, and freaks out regularly and still daydreams way too much and now doesn't give AF. She is addicted to old movies, the History Channel, her iPad, her husband's homemade red wine, really dark chocolate, and her Nespresso coffee machine. Writing keeps her somewhat sane, extremely happy, and a productive member of society. If you enjoy emotional, character driven epic tales, her books are for you.
