Review: Trust in Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout by J. Lynn (Wait for You #1.5)

Note: This review was originally published on Goodreads.

Cameron "Cam" Hamilton is cocky but quite sweet and he made quite an impression in Wait for You, the first book in the series by the same name. In Trust in Me, the events of "Wait for You" are told from his perspective plus a bonus here and there. This is a novella but is still quite long and can actually be considered a full-length novel compared to other books that have even less in terms of number of pages. Hehe.

Reading this book reminded me of why I put Cam on my book boyfriends list months ago. The guy is definitely a charmer and is confident but he's also got that protective and romantic side of him that you just can't resist...even though Avery Morgansten did so for two months. Yes, two months. NUTTY! Hahaha!

There's more interaction between Teresa Hamilton and Jase Winstead, Cam's younger sister and his best friend, respectively, setting the stage for the second book in the series and third overall, Be with Me. There's definitely something more than what was glimpsed in the first book so I can't wait to read their story next year.

All in all, this was a great novella and I enjoyed myself while reading it in one sitting. 4.5 stars out of five, rounding the rating off to five stars for GR's purposes, for Trust in Me by J. Lynn (aka Jennifer L. Armentrout).
