Crazy Beautiful Love (Dirty Dicks #4) by K.L. Grayson Release Date: January 31, 2019 About Crazy Beautiful Love There’s a fine line between love and hate… Tess Walker is game for anything—except world-renowned photographer Beau Allen, the guy who inadvertently sent her life into a downward spiral. It has taken Tess years to find herself and become a person she can be proud of. Now Beau is back and making a play for her heart…a play she’s not sure she wants him to make. The more he pushes, the more her walls crumble, and Tess soon discovers that his sweet kisses and even sweeter words might be just what she’s been looking for in life. And Tess Walker hates Beau Allen… Beau Allen has it all: loving family, plentiful friends, and a job that sends him all over the world. What he doesn’t have is a home—or a reason to make one. Living out of a suitcase isn’t ideal, but he’s perfectly content. That is, until a beautiful woman barrels her way into his life and has h

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Give Me Books Promotions. I cradle her face in my hands, brush my thumb along her bottom lip and slowly lean down until my mouth hovers above hers. She takes a breath and releases it with a faint whimper. I let that whimper soak into my bones. I let it fuel me. I enjoy the moment, the calm before the storm, because that's what this kiss will be; it's what Tess and I will be if we decide to take it that far. A storm, brewing in the night, colliding in one loud, thunderous, gloriously scary moment that will shake the entire world. This series!!! Gah! It took one book for me to fall for K.L. Grayson's writing-- The Truth About Lennon --and a series about the Allen siblings of Heaven, Texas to have me absolutely addicted. I've promptly bought all of this author's books on Amazon, and I've pre-ordered her upcoming release in March. I'm that smitten with Grayson's stories, and even i

Book Spotlight: Catastrophe Queen by Emma Hart

Catastrophe Queen by Emma Hart Date Released: January 29, 2019 About Catastrophe Queen It’s not you. It’s me. No, seriously. It is me. Not only does my name literally mean “unfortunate,” but that’s the story of my life.  Everything I touch turns to crap. An apartment fire—that I swear I was not responsible for—means I’m living back at home with my sex-mad parents. Yay, me! Which is why I need my new job as personal assistant to Cameron Reid to get back on my feet. Three months in this job and I can move back out and, hopefully, remember to turn off my flat iron once in a while.  Ahem.  On paper, my job is easy. Make coffee. Book appointments. Keep everything in order. Until I walk in on my boss, half-naked, wearing nothing but the kind of tiny white towel that dreams are made of. Now, nothing is easy—except our mutual attraction. But he’s my boss, and you know what they say about mixing work and pleasure: unless you do porn, it’s just not worth

Review: Catastrophe Queen by Emma Hart

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author via Social Butterfly PR. I discovered Emma Hart's writing in 2016 and promptly fell in love with her Burke Brothers series. My love affair with her books continued the following year, but somewhere in 2018, it was more miss than hit for me. I skipped on a couple of her more recent releases, and then I read the blurb for Catastrophe Queen , which is Hart's first release for the new year. There was something about a klutzy female main character and her hot boss that made me think this was going to hopefully be more than your typical office romance. So, I decided that this was as good a time as any for me to start reading an Emma Hart-penned novel, and I am glad I went with my gut because this romantic comedy was, hands down, one of the author's best releases--and now a favorite of mine--in a long while. Twenty-five-year-old Mallory Harper is a walking disaster and she knows it. After a job interview, she

Hollywood Playboy (Hollywood Royalty #1) by Natasha Madison Date Released: January 29, 2019 About Hollywood Playboy Behind the "lights, camera, action" of Hollywood lies a world of deception, love, and seduction.  Are you ready for Hollywood Royalty ? Jessica An entertainment journalist was the last thing I thought I would be doing. I thought once I got my degree, I would be reporting on stories that made a difference, but now all I do is report on who broke up with who and who is dating who. I was over it. Then I got my next assignment.  He’s Hollywood’s bad boy. He works hard, and he plays even harder. He’s rude, he’s condescending, and he’s made it known he doesn’t want me on the tour. With one month on the road with him, two things might happen. One, I may never work in this industry again. Two, I may just be like everyone else and fall for Hollywood’s Playboy. Read my five-plus-starred review of Hollywoo

Let me be.” “How?” he asks, his voice quivering now.  “How can I let you be when I can't breathe without you? How can I let you be when half of my soul is missing when I'm not near you? Tell me how, Jessica, and I'll leave you and never come back.” Hollywood romance-themed novels are a dime a dozen. I mean, I'll still read one for as long as it catches my attention even if majority of the ones out there more or less follow the same storyline. Been there done that, but if it's well-written, I'll still be a happy camper. And then there are the extra-special ones--the ones that you think are going to turn out like everything else that came before it and then SWOOSH! It sweeps you off your feet and gives you a love story between a smart and sassy entertainment journa

Living on the Inside by Londra Laine Date Released: January 29, 2019 About Living on the Inside Micah Grayson lives in his baby mama’s guesthouse. It’s unconventional and awkward, but he’s happy for a chance to reconnect with his teenage son. He doesn’t have time for other distractions—no matter how sexy, independent, and compassionate that distraction might be. Besides, he’s not good enough for more than a fling—no one would ever take him home to meet their parents.  Adrien Darling has book smarts, but no street savvy—at least that’s what his family says. And after a heart-breaking betrayal by the man meant to love and protect him, Adrien believes them.
