Review: Tie Me Down Tight by Cathryn Fox (Breaking the Rules #3)

Tie Me Down Tight is the third and latest installment in the erotic romance series from bestselling author Cathryn Fox entitled Breaking the Rules. Here, we have the third among a group of four female best friends who gets her shot at a happy ending of her own--Angie Stanton is a former entertainment lawyer turned actress who breaks her own rules when she ends up sleeping with the hot cowboy she thinks her best friends got her for her birthday. Then she finds herself face to face with him and realizes that he's none other than Hollywood hottie and actor Dylan Brooks. What was supposed to be nothing more than a one time thing turns left so much of an impression on Dylan that he suggests they spend the whole week that he's in town exploring their connection. But one week may turn out to be not enough for either one...

And Cathryn Fox has brought the series back on top with this steamy novella! Angie and Dylan are attracted to one another but they both have trust issues, so a temporary fling is all either one is able to give. However, you know what happens when feelings get involved and it forces the two of them to really take a long, hard look at whether or not they're willing to let the other go or take a risk. The grand gesture Dylan employs was really quite sweet, especially since he was a complete ass with Angie prior to his act of redemption. Among the three currently available novellas, this third one is my favorite, followed very closely behind by the series starter, Hold Me Down Hard. I'm also looking forward to seeing who the last among the best friends ends up with. Short, sweet, but oh-so-steamy, Tie Me Down Tight earns four stars. ♥

Four years' worth of meaningless sexual encounters flash through my head as I break the kiss and slide down his body again. All those guys I hooked up with in the past...they're a blur.
