Review: Fall by Stacey Brandon & Karen Bell (Crash #2)

Note: This ARC was provided by Enticing Journey Book Promotions in exchange for an honest review.

Fall is the second novel in the Stacey Brandon  and Karen Bell-penned Crash series and picks up right after the events in the first novel. Olivia Garrett, a gifted photographer and waitress at The Crash, and Zachary Reynolds, a chef ready to open his new restaurant, are drawn to one another but neither one can really pursue whatever might be possible between them for one simple reason: Zac is engaged to the woman he's been in a relationship with for years. When Zac's fiancĂ©e asks Liv to be their official engagement  and wedding photographer, Liv decides to be professional and takes the task on. The more time they spend together, the more undeniable their attraction is. When time and distance don't diminish her feelings for him, will Liv ever be able to move on when she sees Zac again or could fate have a new plan for these two?

I've loved Liv ever since we met her in the first book, Crash, and I'm so glad she finally gets her own story with this sequel. Her love story with Zac played out differently than I would have expected, and I always appreciate it when authors are able to surprise me and keep me on my toes. There's more than one twist in this story and an added bonus is we still have Logan and Charli Mitchell, who are going through their own issues after having tied the knot, plus the rest of The Crash gang is as present as ever. If Logan was the one I wanted to shake and knock some sense to in the series starter, here it was more of Liv, though not to the same extent. I really liked Liv and Zac together and their story had enough originality and uniqueness to it to stand out in the over-crowded romance field. I'm enjoying the Crash series so far and give Fall 4.5 stars. ♥
