Review: 608 Alpha Ave. by Adriana Locke (Cherry Falls #23)

Note: An advanced reader copy (ARC) was provided by the author.

608 Alpha Ave. is the twenty-third book in the multi-authored Cherry Falls series, and it's penned by none other than bestselling author Adriana Locke. Novella in length, this story can be read in a short period of time, and it's sweet AND steamy romance. Now, if you're new to the small town of Cherry Falls, fear not! You can read each book as a standalone. Locke's contribution to the series is only my second read, and neither of those books were directly connected to each other and I was still able to fully enjoy them both individually.

Bartender Haley Morgan (21) is in need of a man's perspective to help her with her manuscript, and the man she wants--both for his perspective and for other extracurricular activities--is Grayson Blake (31). He's grumpy and barely acknowledges her presence whenever he's at the Fireside Bar and Grill, but the co-owner of Blake Brother Auto Repair is exactly who Haley needs. So, when the opportunity comes up for her to help his business with her marketing skills, all she wants in exchange is for her to pick his brain. What Haley doesn't know is that she's the only girl who revs Gray's engine.

608 Alpha Ave. was a fun read! It took about an hour for me to read Haley and Grayson's story, but in that amount of time, I was quite smitten with these two, AND I'm seriously keeping my fingers crossed that Gray's younger brothers, Garret and Grant, will get their own books, and maybe even Tristan, an employee at the auto repair shop who's an honorary Blake brother. I know the author's got a book for Haley's best friend, Kaylee, in the Cherry Falls series come September, and I'm definitely looking forward to that because she deserves a happily-ever-after as well. See, this is what Adriana Locke is fab at: small town romances and creating a cast of characters we want more from! 4.5 stars!
