Review: The Second Wedding by Rebecca Yarros (Legacy #1.5)

Note: A review copy of the short story, which is part of an anthology, was provided by the author.

The Second Wedding is a short story written by Rebecca Yarros and is her contribution to the multi-author Dissent anthology. This story features Harper (nee Anders) and Knoxville Daniels, who are the main characters from Reason to Believe, the first full-length novel in the Legacy series. It goes without saying that Reason to Believe must be read prior to diving into The Second Wedding in order to better appreciate Harper and Knox's story. If time permits, check out the other novellas and shorts in the series as well!

I enjoyed this quick visit with Harper and Knox, as well with a number of other characters from the Legacy series. This was like that extra bit of happy in this couple's happily-ever-after. With everything they went through in their full-length book, I loved how easygoing everything was with this short story. It's swoony and sweet with just enough steam to remind everyone the sizzling chemistry these two share. It took me less than ten minutes to read The Second Wedding, but that was enough time for Harper and Knox--and Rebecca Yarros--to leave me with quite a satisfied smile on my face. Five stars.
