Review: The Right Side of Forever by Meghan Quinn (Perfect #2)

Can I just say that I was glad I had this sequel ready and waiting for me once I was done with its predecessor? The Right Side of Forever is THE happy ending that I've been hoping and waiting for, and if anyone deserves it, it's Colby Brooks. If you've read my review for The Left Side of Perfect, you'll know that there's Colby and two women in his life--his fiancée, Sage Guthrie, and his closest female friend, Ryan Collier. Now, because I don't want to spoil this read for anyone, I'm not going to go into any of the details. What happens in this duet closer needs to really be experienced by the reader on their own. Of course, just make sure that you read the first before perusing this one.

Allow me to confess that at the time I finished book one, I thought to myself that I was good with how things ended there and would have been okay without reading book two because Colby was happy and in love. But yeah, that last all of five or ten minutes. Was I surprised with the turn of events in this second book? Not really. To be honest, I was kinda expecting it, especially given how everything turned out in The Blue Line duet. But where I was unhappy with that duet, I found myself more than satisfied with how this new duet played out. Meghan Quinn delivered big time and I can only hope other supporting characters get their own happily-ever-afters somewhere down the road. Again, let me reiterate that the books must be read in order. Five stars for The Right Side of Forever.
