Review: Secret Santa Baby by Robin Covington

Note: This ebook was provided by Entangled Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

They've had feelings for one another since college, but neither Tessa Stoneman nor Nicholas Boone have ever confessed those feelings out loud to each other. Tessa went on to be in a relationship with Nicholas's close friend for years, but now that it's been over for a year, Nicholas thinks the time is finally right for him to let her know how he feels about her, especially since she's about to leave the company that he's created in order for her to strike out on her own. Maybe being her "Secret Santa Baby" will help him get his message across. Then Tessa's ex-boyfriend--his close friend--announces that he intends to reconcile with her. Nicholas has to decide if he's going to step aside yet again or if he's going to stand his ground and show Tessa that as much as he loves being her best friend, he's more than ready for her to be his forever.

Secret Santa Baby is a Christmas novella from author Robin Covington, one that was released in December 2012, and is now being re-released with a new cover, and one that I think gives a better visual depiction of the male lead character, Nicholas Boone. This may have been a really quick read but it was one that I fell in love with from start to finish! Nicholas Boone and Tessa Stoneman were a love story waiting to happen and they finally get their chance just when Christmas is in the air and Tessa is ready to start a new chapter in her professional life. I liked how the lyrics for the Christmas classic Santa Baby came into play as Nicholas tried to woo Tessa the only way that he knew how, in all his cute but oh-so-hot nerdiness. I smiled and swooned over Secret Santa Baby and give it a much deserved five stars. ♥
