Changing Lines (Harrisburg Railers #1) by RJ Scott & V.L. Locey narrated by Sean Crisden Date Released: July 25, 2018
About Changing Lines Can Tennant show Jared that age is just a number and that love is all that matters?

The Rowe brothers are famous hockey hotshots, but as the youngest of the trio, Tennant has always had to play against his brothers’ reputations. To get out of their shadows, and against their advice, he accepts a trade to the Harrisburg Railers, where he runs into Jared Madsen. Mads is an old family friend and his brother’s one-time teammate. Mads is Tennant’s new coach. And Mads is the sexiest thing on which he’s ever laid eyes.

Jared Madsen’s hockey career was cut short by a fault in his heart, but coaching keeps him close to the game. When Ten is traded to the team, his carefully organized world is thrown into chaos. Nine years his junior and his best friend’s brother, he knows Ten is strictly off-limits, but as soon as he sees Ten’s moves, on and off the ice, he k…

Audiobook Review: Changing Lines by RJ Scott & V.L. Locey, narrated by Sean Crisden (Harrisburg Railers #1)

I originally read Changing Lines a little over a year ago, having been a fan of both M/M hockey romances and RJ Scott's, I was both curious to see how she would do with the sub-genre and and how her new writing partnership with V.L. Locey would read like. This was the story of twenty-two-year-old Tennant Rowe, a talented hockey player who's proud of his fellow hockey-playing brothers but would love to know what it's like to be known for his own achievements on the ice. Being as young as he is, he also has to contend with teammates who have far more experience than him, making them more of the go-to than Ten. So when an opportunity to be traded is floated, he decides this could be a blessing in disguise. Sure, the Harrisburg Railers are an expansion team but they're in the process of making a name for themselves separate from the two more popular teams in their home state of Pennsylvania. Havin…

Big Talking Man (Kings of Castle Beach #2) by Marquita Valentine Date Released: August 28, 2018
About Big Talking Man Growing up, Tate Prescott was just my older brother’s best friend, but over the years he became my first love… and my biggest secret.

Yes, you read that right...Tate Prescott, The Tate Prescott, Hollywood Superstar and now the most sought after movie director in the industry is mine. We’ve hidden our relationship from the world for so long that it’s become second nature. The last thing we wanted was a media frenzy to rain down on us. But after my little brother drowned at sea and I became wrapped up in the guilt of knowing that his death was my fault, I shut down… and Tate left when I needed him the most.

Four months have passed since then, and now Tate’s back in town, demanding that I give him thirty days to make our relationship work. All I want is to forget about the mistake we made the weekend my brother died. Only Tate’s not so easily deterred and he’s not just some bi…

Review: Big Talking Man by Marquita Valentine (Kings of Castle Beach #2)

We return to Castle Beach with the release of the second book in Marquita Valentine's Kings of Castle Beach series entitled Big Talking Man. Crushing on your brother's best friend is nothing new. Heck, falling in love with him isn't much of a shocker either. But when he becomes your biggest secret and part of the reason for your biggest regret? Well, Quinn King is still dealing with the aftermath. As if falling for her older brother's friend wasn't complicated enough, the fact that he's none other than the Tate Prescott, Hollywood's hottest property, whether as a then-actor and now a sought-after director, adds extra layers of complications that required additional stealth on both the parts of Quinn and Tate. Theirs wasn't a fling; Tate and Quinn truly loved each other, but keeping their relationship as far away from gossip rags and tabloids was a necessary evil. But…

Review: If We Fall by Nina Lane (What If #1)

“I loved you before we were even born.” He pressed his face to my hair. “I'd never leave you, not if I didn't have to. You will always be my best friend, and wherever you are in the world, whatever happens, please believe all I ever want is for you to be safe and happy. I'll do anything for you except stay. Anytime, anywhere, for as long as we live. Anything. Remember that.” He detached himself from me slowly, bent to kiss my check, and whispered, “I love you, my Josie Bird.”
Oh. My. God!!! This book! That ending! GAH!!! It is so not fair that Nina Lane lulls me into complacency only to leave me agog with a cliffhanger ending of epic proportions. Okay, maybe it's not about fairness, plus I pretty much had a feeling readers would get a cliffy simply because her What If series is a duet, and the first book usually ends in a cliffy. But wow, here I am, a whole lot of time later, and I'm s…

Bestselling author Nina Lane introduces fans and readers to her newest couple in a familiar setting by way of If We Leap, a prequel novella currently available for free on e-retailers and the opening salvo in her What If series. The first time Josephine Mays saw Colton Danforth, she was eight and he was eleven. As the years would pass Cole would prove to be her hero, stepping in to save her more than once, could the boy she's had a crush on become the man who would lay claim over everything that Josie is?

Prequels don't just provide backstory or bonus introductory material; they're meant to whet a reader's appetite so …

Book Spotlight: Ten Reasons to Stay by Candace Knoebel

Ten Reasons to Stay (Risky Hearts #1) by Candace Knoebel Date Released: August 30, 2018
About Ten Reason to Stay One day a week—Thursdays—my husband and I could do whatever or whomever we pleased.  Protection was non-negotiable. And no matter what, we had to be home by midnight.
Jack was the one who wanted an open marriage, but we were supposed to keep things simple. No strings. No commitments. It seemed so easy…until it wasn’t.
Devilishly handsome Cole Blackwater was only supposed to be a fling, but everything about him made me feel alive. Wanted. Seen. When I realized he was my husband’s boss, I should have broken things off right then…but I didn’t.
One day a week, I could pretend that I was his and he was mine…until Cole wanted more.
But how could I decide between the man I’d promised to love, honor, and cherish, and the man who tempted me to break every single vow I’d made?
