Review: Best Friend Temptation by Carrie Ann Ryan (Montgomery Ink Legacy #4)

Best Friend Temptation is the fourth full-length novel in Carrie Ann Ryan's Montgomery Ink Legacy series, and this is the first story in the aforementioned series to feature an MMF triad--but most certainly not the first in the Montgomery Ink book universe. Noah Montgomery-Gallagher may be the oldest child of the original Montgomery triad--Maya Montgomery, Jake Gallagher, and Border Gentry from Ink Enduring, Montgomery Ink #5--but he's never seen himself as having what it takes to have two people commit themselves to him, especially when those two people happen to be his best friend and the woman they both want. But maybe if Noah simply opened his eyes and saw what was right in front of him, he'd realize that Ford Cage and Greer Cassidy may be far more ready and willing to share with him everything Noah had never wholly thought possible.

I've never made a secret of my being super nitpicky when it comes to romances that involve throuples. A lot of the times, it becomes all about the sex, and hey, there's certainly nothing wrong with the heat being raised up in the books I read. But I like a whole lot of heart with my heat, and when it comes to throuples, I need to be convinced that the commitment is equal on all sides. I'm happy to say that Carrie Ann Ryan ticked all my boxes, but then that's par for the course since she has yet to disappoint when it comes to any of her stories with a triad as the main characters. I loved seeing Noah and Ford together just as much as I did Noah and Greer and Ford and Greer, and don't even get me started on the three of them together. Theirs was one heck of a journey to a well-deserved and hard-fought happily-ever-after, and I relished reading every bit of it. Best Friend Temptation earns itself five stars, and I look forward to the plethora of books yet to come.

Review: The Room Mate by Kendall Ryan (Roommates #1)

I do believe I've found myself a new book boyfriend to drool, erm, swoon over in Cannon Roth, male main character in bestselling author Kendall Ryan's Roommates series starter, The Room Mate . This had a familiar romance trope--falling-for-your-best-friend's-sibling--and yet I didn't find it boring or tiresome in any way.
