Review: Live Wire by Cristin Harber (Titan #8.5)

Note: This ARC was provided by InkSlinger PR in exchange for an honest review.

Live Wire is the latest novella in the bestselling and reader favorite Titan series from Cristin Harber and is about to kind of trouble two Titan wives can get into and what it takes for the team to get their women back. It's fast-paced and that combination of action, suspense, love, and sex that the series has always been known for is ever-present in this quick read. While we don't get the entire Titan team here, we do have Jared and Sugar Westin and Parker and Lexi Black as the two main couples. We're also introduced to Bishop O'Kane, one of three candidates the team is currently vetting to decide if he's Titan material or not.

Sugar Westin is this close to giving birth the their daughter but Jared Westin knows that when his wife gets in her head to do something, there's very little he can do to stop her. Sugar partners with Lexi Black to do a bit of surveillance work on Bishop O'Kane to see if he's truly worthy to be part of the team, but it seems that they can't help but attract trouble when Lexi is taken by the Russian mob. Not even pregnancy can stop Sugar from doing what she's able to to help her best friend and Jared, Parker, Bishop, and the other team members of both Titan and Delta will have to work quickly to get Parker's wife back to safety.

Bishop's story is up next in the series and I appreciated this introduction we were able to have because then he doesn't just show up cold. Our curiosity is piqued a bit here, leaving us wanting to learn more about him in a more full-length book. I loved that Jared, Sugar, Parker, and Lexi were part of this story and we get to see where they're at in their respective relationships and marriages. I wonder if the two other candidates mentioned will end up becoming part of the team or not, because the Titan series fan in me doesn't want to assume that this series will end with Bishop. I'm giving Live Wire four out of five stars. ♥
