Winchester Falls is the one place where rock star Logan King can kick back and be himself. In return, he headlines the town's annual Summer Festival, inviting his band mates and musician friends, and matches the proceeds collected for King Foundation. The one rule he has is to not become involved with any of the women in Winchester Falls, but then he never expected to meet someone like Isabella Grace.

Winchester Falls has become the one place that business owner Isabella Grace can call home. She owns a book shop specializing in rare and hard-to-find books with her best friends, Nichole and Adam Wolfe. She's volunteered to head this year's Summer Festival and wants everything to go smoothly but doesn't anticipate lusting over Logan King, the man whose songs became the anthem of her teen years.

They try to keep their mutual attraction at bay but once they finally give in, the intensity of their feelings is difficult to ignore. Unfortunately, there's someone who refuses to share Logan with any other woman, believing she's the only one for him. Logan is fearful of what this woman from his past is capable of and he's ready to do anything to spare Izzy, even if it means having to break her heart in the process.

Anything But Mine is the first book in the When You're Gone series by bestselling author Taryn Elliott and is one heck of a good start to what's looking like an addictive set of books. Logan and Izzy (though she's called Bella or B by her friends) have definite chemistry and while the progress of their relationship may seem quick, there's no denying the magnitude of their feelings, something new to both.

The story of a rock star and small business owner falling for one another isn't anything groundbreaking but the stalker angle gave it a creative twist, increasing interest on what will happen next for Logan and Izzy. There are bits of humor and a healthy dose of drama mixed in with romance and steam. Anything But Mine does end with a cliffhanger but I still recommend you check it out and give it 4.5 stars. ♥
