Review: Under the Radar by Melanie Moreland (Reynolds Restorations #4)

I'm putting it out there: Reynolds Restoration is my favorite series from Melanie Moreland. I love how the cast of characters have truly become a family. They may not be bound by blood, but they're bound by love, loyalty, and respect. And now, Moreland's just released the fourth and latest addition to the series, and it's one that I've been eager to read ever since she announced who it was actually going to be about! Add to that learning who he's been paired with? Talk about landing on my list of most anticipated reads!

Under the Radar is Chase Donner's story, and if you're familiar with the series, you know how Chase become part of the rag-tag fam over at Reynolds Restoration. At thirty, he's come a long way from the troubled young man he once was. Now the garage's office manager and custom interiors designer, Chase lives a pretty good life. If only he can find a roommate who doesn't make him worry for his safety...or his sanity. And then the doorbell rings, and there stands the woman he's always wanted: Occifer Cinnamon.

It seems that Hannah Gallagher has hit the jackpot when it comes to roommates because Chase Donner is a unicorn among roomies...and men. As a twenty-eight-year-old police officer who's made the move from big city to small town, she's trying to set down roots. In Chase, she's not only found a roommate; she's also found a friend...and quite possibly someone she can entrust her heart to. But Chase doesn't deem himself worthy of Hannah, and Hannah's got her own cache of secrets that she's keeping from him.

This book gave me a case of perma-grin. Could two people be any more adorable?! Chase and Hannah simply clicked, and seeing how far he's come from when he was first introduced in the series is amazing. I loved how accepting Hannah was of Chase and how supportive everyone at Reynolds Restorations was of him. And Hannah was such a strong individual who also knew when to pivot. And can I just say that I wouldn't say "no" to a Dom and Cherry novella? Wink, wink! Hint, hint! Five stars go to Under the Radar!
