Review: Arrive by Nina Lane (Spiral of Bliss #3.5)

Arrive is a novella in the Spiral of Bliss contemporary romance series penned by Nina Lane and takes place between the last chapter and the epilogue of the third book, Awaken. This novella is available for free when you sign up for the author's newsletter, but I highly recommend that you read the first three novels before heading into this one or else you won't be able to appreciate everything Dean and Olivia West went through before they welcomed their little blessing here. Now, if you've read the three books already and are wondering if this novella is necessary for you to go on to the fourth book, I'll be honest and say that no, it isn't. That being said, this was a short but enjoyable read, and it's free, so go and read it.

This being Liv and Dean's first full-term pregnancy, they appear to be handling it in their respective ways. Dean researches, ask questions, and jots down notes while Liv is learning through experience. As proven in the first three books in the series, they've got a good support system, but I really liked the development on one particular front but I won't get into it here so as not to give out any spoilers. Pregnancy doesn't totally get in the way of the passion these two have for each other, and there were certainly lighthearted moments mixed in with the usually more intense ones when these two are intimate. Arrive is the perfect breather from all things angsty and heavy in the lives of Liv and Dean before you decide to go into Adore. Five stars. ♥
