Review: Captivate Me by Ryan Michele (Ravage MC #5)

Captivate Me is the fifth and final full-length novel in the Ravage MC series from author Ryan Michele, and after having read all five books one after the other and getting to know the men and women of this motorcycle club, I must say that this was the best possible way to end their saga. Unlike the four other novels, this last one is told from several points-of-view, namely, Breaker, Buzz, Bella, Shaina, Pops, and Ma. The four other couples--Cruz and Harlow, G.T. and Casey/Angel, Tug and Blaze, and Rhys and Tanner--are here in full force as well, but we already got to hear from them in the past, so having these new and varied viewpoints in this series ender gave a fresh perspective to what the Ravage MC had to face.

It's been clear from the get-go in the series that someone is out to bring the Ravage MC down and, as to be expected with this being the novel that closes out the series, fans and readers finally learn whose wreaked such havoc on all of them. The men and women of Ravage have always been family and as they've learned as the series has evolved that the it's their family that they can count on when they face whatever challenges come their way. This time around, they'll have to come together in a way they never have before. I don't want to go into too much detail but suffice it to say that this will keep you on the edge of your seats until its conclusion. As with every book in the series, you're in for a hell of an exhilarating ride.

This has been such a really great MC romance series, one that I wouldn't call perfect but it's one that's always had heart. With all five novels and the five novellas--which you should read in order--the importance of brotherhood, sisterhood, and family is reiterated, making it the very core of the series. There's no doubting that the men of Ravage MC are very alpha in nature, but the women they've chosen to fall in love are by no means helpless females needing them to come riding in on their bikes to rescue them. The cast of characters have been fun, and while you always wish a series you love could go on forever, I couldn't have chosen a better way to say goodbye to all things Ravage MC. Five stars go to Captivate Me. ♥
