A call from his best friends sister ends up with him taking her home and it’s all he can do to remember that she’s off limits. Doesn’t matter that she’s too much of temptation for a man on the edge, he promised her brother he wouldn’t go anywhere near her. Kathryn Lecour has been in lust with hockey player Ryan Flynn since she was first laid eyes on him. The problem? Ryan is her brother’s best friend, bound by a complicated code of chivalry both on and off the ice.  Will Ryan, the hard man of the Dragons ever see her as anything more than his best friend’s little sister? Review: The Code by RJ Scott writing as Rozenn Scott (Ice Dragons #1)

Note: This ARC was provided by Signal Boost Promotions in exchange for an honest review. In the months since I read my first RJ Scott book back in early March of this year, she's easily become one of my favorite go-to authors, and that includes books she's written under her pseudonym Rozenn Scott. Yes, I love her M/M romances, but she's proven to be as great an author when it comes to M/F romances as well, and her new hockey romance series, Ice Dragons , gets off to a fantastic start with The Code . This had a falling-for-your-best-friend's-sibling trope, a favorite of mine, and with this just enough of the sport in it to qualify as a sports romance.  Ryan Flynn has loved his best friend's younger sister for years, but he made a promise to Kathryn Lecour's brother and that was to protect Kat from jocks--especially hockey players--just like them because she deserved better. All Ryan carries with him is the memory of the kiss they shared after her pro

Hotline (Murmur Inc. #1) by Quinn Anderson Release Date: October 31, 2016 Riptide Publishing About Hotline Zack never intended to become a phone sex operator, but with half a college degree and a smart mouth, his options were limited. It helps that he has a knack for thinking on his feet and a willingness to roll with whatever his clients throw at him. Sure, he gets his fair share of creeps and unconventional requests, but it pays the bills, and he’s in no danger of breaking his one rule: never fall for a client. Until a man named “John” starts calling, and Zack finds himself interested in more than a paycheck. It’s not just that John has money, or that his rumbling baritone drives Zack wild. He’s everything Zack isn’t: educated, poised, and in total control of his life. A twist of fate brings them face-to-face, and now that they’ve seen each other—and spent an unforgettable night together—they can’t go back to the way things were. A sex worker and a trust fund brat . .

Review: Hotline by Quinn Anderson (Murmur Inc. #1)

Note: This ARC was provided by Riptide Publishing in exchange for an honest review. Squeeeee! I adored this standalone from Quinn Anderson, and I hope that it's just the first of many more reads that I'll be reading from her. Hotline was sweet but sexy and had a fair dose of snark and sass, two things that I like in the main characters in the books I read. I don't like overly sugary conversations or scenarios because they just remind me a bit too much of the stuff I used to read when I was a teenager, and while there were sweet goings-on between Zack, a phone sex operator, and John, a law student. There were moments that had me frustrated with the two main characters, mostly because they so needed better and more open and honest lines of communication. Funny though that it was as if there was very little hesitation when they were on the phone and Zack was still Wesley and John was still John but they were voices that didn't feel the need to prettify or sanitize

Note: This ARC was provided by InkSlinger PR in exchange for an honest review. Everything inside me clenches. My breathing becomes slightly faster as his lips inch closer. “Me?” Wyatt nods. “Are you hooked on my line?” “Yes,” he confirms. “You’re out here on my boat, on my land, and in my life, makin’ me see things for the first time. I’ve never felt like this before. I’ve never wanted to be something so much, and yet hope it eludes me a little more.” My hand touches his cheek. “You want me to keep fighting this?” His eyes close as he rubs his face in my palm. “I love watching your walls crumble. I love watching your reasons diminish. I’m really going to enjoy it when you finally realize just how much you want me.” His voice drops, and he looks at me again, serious this time. “Because make no mistake—you’ll want me. I’m makin’ damn sure of it.” Say You Want Me is the second novel in the Return to Me series written by bestselling author Corinne Michaels, and it finall
