Review: All of Me by Callie Harper (All In #2)

Note: This ARC was provided by the author via Sassy Savvy Fabulous PR in exchange for an honest review.

All of Me is a second chance love story and it's the second novel in the Callie Harper-penned All In series, which is an interconnected collection of four books that can be read as standalones but I'm recommending you read the books for a better reading experience. Liam and Sophie were once very much in love, even if their time together was limited to just one summer. In the seven years they've been apart, the heat that once consumed them should have been properly doused by the reality that they were no longer together nor did they have contact with each other in all that time. She went on to become a much regarded ballerina and he's a firefighter. But a love like theirs doesn't seem to recognize the passage of time nor the distance that they put between them. When she returns to the place where they fell in love, she doesn't expect Liam to be there...or for him to still feel exactly how she feels.

I have a soft spot for second chance romances, and I think it has a lot to do with the idea that two people can have the right kind of love at the wrong time so fate intervenes once again at the right time. Sounds like a cheesy love song, but I'm a sap for stuff like that. Liam and Sophie have done their share of growing up over the years and it's pretty obvious that the heat is still very much there and all that was needed was for them to lay eyes on one another in order for it to come roaring back to life. These two were a highly likable couple and I liked the interactions that they had. One of my favorite things about this trope is seeing how much the main characters have changed over time and how they deal with that change, and for Liam and Sophie, it was watching them fall in love with the new versions of each other. All of Me had that much-needed heat and heart combination I like. 4.5 stars! ♥
