Review: One Contract by L.P. Lovell & Stevie J. Cole (The Game #1)

The Game is a seven-part novella series co-authored by the writing team of L.P. Lovell and Stevie J. Cole, and the first novella is One Contract, which introduces readers to the three main characters in the story: Tobias Benton, Preston Lucas, and Ella Taylor. Tobias and Preston are very wealthy business associates who make down-on-her-luck Ella an offer she'd be stupid to refuse--one million dollars for one week of her absolute submission to them. Tobias and Preston would be able to do whatever they want with Ella, whenever and wherever they choose to do so. With no home, no boyfriend, and no job, is Ella absolutely prepared to sign on the dotted line and play to win?

This was one hell of a hot series starter! But this isn't just about the dirty and decadent encounters Ella finds herself in with Tobias and Preston--separately and as a threesome. We don't get the whole picture but then that's to be expected. Our curiosity is piqued, especially with that cliffhanger ending. What really is going on and what sort of game are Tobias and Preston playing with Ella? I couldn't help but wonder if all three players really knew what the heck was happening or if there happened to be a puppeteer pulling the strings. You'll get what I mean when you get to the end if this first novella. Damn it, I need the second one NOW! One Contract garners four stars. ♥
